Living room rug sizes
Choose a rug that anchors the seating area. In most rooms, the front legs of the sofa and chairs should rest on the rug while circulation paths retain a visible border of floor.
Dining room rug sizes
Allow about 60 to 75 cm beyond the table so chairs remain on the rug when pulled back. This clearance is especially useful with a thicker Moroccan wool pile.
Bedroom rug sizes
A bedroom rug should remain visible beside the bed and at its foot. Measure the bed, bedside tables, and walking space together so the soft landing falls where you step.
Custom rug sizes
For a made-to-order rug, confirm the final dimensions, tassel direction, border, and room photos before weaving starts. Handmade dimensions can vary slightly with wool and weaving tension.
