Design your own Berber rug
Upload a sketch, room photo, pattern, or color reference. The atelier reviews dimensions, pile, wool, tassels, border spacing, and feasibility before a draft order is created.
Begin your commissionDesigned by the atelier
A considered proposal, never an instant configurator.
Approve before payment
Payment is confirmed before knotting begins.
14-day returns
Eligible made-to-order rugs are included; you arrange and pay for the return.
Weaving warranty
Structural weaving faults are assessed for repair or a remake.

Made around your room, not a standard size chart.
Choose exact dimensions, plush or lower pile, natural undyed Atlas wool, muted colors, custom borders, or a softer interpretation of an existing design. Small irregularities are part of a handwoven rug’s character and are reviewed before production begins.
Handmade dimensions can vary by up to 5 cm with wool and weaving tension. The atelier confirms the final specification before payment and production.

Hand-knotted in Morocco
The atelier knots, washes and checks your rug, then photographs and dispatches it with tracking.
Before you make an enquiry
How much does a custom rug cost?
Price depends on size, pile, wool, colours and design complexity. The final price in your currency is shown before payment.
Can I share inspiration?
Yes. After file type and size checks, you can upload photos, sketches, pattern references, room images and PDFs.
How long does it take?
Weaving and quality checks usually take 3–6 weeks, followed by insured delivery that normally takes 9–13 days.
Can I return a custom rug?
Benihaus voluntarily accepts eligible return requests within 14 days of delivery, including made-to-order rugs. Contact us first; you arrange and pay for tracked, insured return transport. Conditions apply.
When do I pay?
An enquiry and atelier review are not a purchase. Payment is completed and confirmed before knotting, after you approve the specification and draft order.
What does the weaving warranty cover?
Structural weaving faults are assessed for repair, re-knotting or a remake. Normal handmade variation up to 5 cm, wear, misuse and unsuitable cleaning are not structural faults.
How are taxes and delivery handled?
Your region and currency are shown before payment. EU tax and customs handling are included where configured. Outside the EU, import VAT, duties or carrier fees may apply unless checkout says otherwise.
