Secure providers
Available payment methods are shown at checkout and processed by the selected provider. Benihaus does not store full card credentials.
Authorisation and capture
A provider may authorise funds before capture. The exact payment state shown at checkout, in the order confirmation and in the provider receipt controls; do not rely on legacy WooCommerce wording.
Currency
The storefront displays the market currency where configured. If a provider settles in another currency, checkout must disclose it before confirmation and the provider or card issuer may apply conversion charges.
Failed or cancelled payments
A failed or cancelled authorisation does not create a paid order. Where capture has not occurred, cancellation normally releases the authorisation according to the provider and bank timeline.
Security
Payment webhooks are received by the Medusa backend and verified using provider signatures. Never send card or account credentials through email or chat.
